BoardsandCommittees - West Yarmouth Congregational Church

The Nominating Committee is responsible for recruiting and nominating members of our congregation as church officers and members of the Board of Christian Education, the Board of Deacons, 2 at-large members to the Church Council as well as filling committees and in some cases only the committee chairs as presented.		The Church Council meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. The Board of Deacons meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
Music Committee and Pastoral Relations Committee meet on Sunday mornings following worship on an as need basis. House and Grounds Committee meets monthly on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 a.m., dates to be announced. Stewardship Committee meets on an as need basis, dates and times to be announced. The Finance Committee will be meeting on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., September 11 and October 9.		The Board of Christian Education meets on Sunday mornings following worship on a monthly basis - dates and times to be announced. The Missions Committee works to distribute the funds allocated by the congregation for mission outreach. This outreach includes local, national and international outreach. Each month donations are given through the direct support of church members either through monetary funds or donations of material goods to particular charities. If you would like to be involved in the work of the missions committee, please contact the church office. The Mission Committee meets on an as need basis.
